CAREFULLY CRAFTED
Your website is like a S’more. It’s inviting, delicious, and people love it! And like a S’more a website has basic elements that it needs to work. If those elements are not carefully crafted you’ll end up with a messy website. And nobody likes a messy website. You ever tried to get messy website out? It leaves a nasty digital stain.
MAKE IT POP
Three words every designer “lives” to hear. However, sometimes you don’t need that added color or extra font. I’m not scared to converse with you about what may or may not work and why. Unlike other designers, I don’t just want your money, I want to produce a final product that will impact people. But hey, if you still want to use Papyrus on your business card, you’re the boss.
EQUAL SCREEN OPPORTUNIST
Internet traffic originating from mobile devices is rising exponentially each day. It’s important that your website looks just as visually appealing and well balanced on your home PC, as on Bob’s MacBook and Tina’s Samsung Galaxy. I think Shakespeare said it best, “If you’re having responsive issues I feel bad for you son, there are 99 devices and an iPhones just one.”
There Are 58,070 Steps To The Top Of Mount Everest,
Here There Are Only 5.
1. MEET
Let’s talk, get to know each other. Sometimes people just aren’t a good fit. You wouldn’t hire a plumber to fix your car because he isn’t the right man for the job. Just like I wouldn’t buy a car from a fast talking used car dealer. So let’s discuss who we are, what we need, where we’d like to be and most importantly, how we can get there together.
2. PLAN
You don’t build a house without a blue print, and last time I painted the bedroom without a step by step plan from the wife, I ended up doing the work over again. Who knew she hated Apricot? This is perhaps the most important part of our process. Let’s gather in the ‘war room’ and find the most effective and efficient way to tackle your needs.
3. EXECUTE
Now for the fun part. This is where I roll my sleeves up, open a Red-Bull, put on some classical music and stare at a blank screen as it mocks me. “Create…”, it says, and create I shall. And you shall be informed frequently on my progress. I constantly send updated edits of your project to ensure I am on the right path and no time or energy is being wasted.
4. TEST
A website isn’t the only design element that needs to be tested. How would your logo look as a monogram or reduced half its size to fit on your business card? Do those colors translate well once printed on a UV gloss card stock? These are things you don’t have time to worry about. But that’s OK, because these are the things I went to college for.
5. DELIVERY
Earlier we discussed and decided on a timeline. Welcome to that timeline! I have to say, it’s been a real pleasure working with you. But alas, it’s time to hand over all your necessary files. But don’t fret, this isn’t goodbye. Sure. We’re not exclusive. We can see other people. But if I’m being totally honest, I’d love to see you again real soon!
